Real life GTA-SA
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mod | Released Jan 10, 2006
This mod is about making GTA-SA into 3 real cities, real cars and real place names. It is going to take some time to make so ill need all the specialist help i can get. This is the ideas we and my team have for it so far:
Cities:
Los Santos> Los Angeles
San Fierro>San Francisco
Las Venturas>Las Vegas
All the emergancy vecicles will be changed to be different for every city, like different colours and models for the different Police Cars etc.
Pedestrians:
Some will change and some will stay the same, im only interested in changing gang members and emergancy servicemen at present.The AI might be changed if it can be done, because i still dont like what i call the 'suicidal guys'(like the Medics/Police/SWAT/FBI/Army AI) who shoot and ram into you as if they didnt care for themselves. I want them the chase you but i dont want them to ram into you.
Shops:
All shops will change definately, interiors and all. Ideas were:
Cluckin Bell>Taco Bell
Burger Shot>Burger King
Pro-Laps>JJB sports etc.
Radio:
I dont know about anyone else but i want a Flashback FM in san an, i love 80's music, and i dunno why the station wasnt in it, if i could just import a few stations from Vice City, that'll be good!
Date Change?
I've planned it to be set in the early 90's still, but a friend suggested it should be set in the 1970's. Its still unconfirmed.
White CJ?
Hell no! Thats the whole point of San Andreas! Ive never seen a white guy do a drive by in a savanna before in my whole life, so hes definately gonna stay the same!
Hot Coffee mod?
No way man, thats taken it too far that mod so that wont be in it.
I need all the help i can get, as im no modder, if i can get a good modding team THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE ABANDONED.
A new GTA-SA UK mod is also in my plans.(This will feature London,Glasgow and Belfast, i dunno if ill be able to add Cardiff though.

hey just want to say ghope the real life uk san andreas begins progress soon, BUT i really need help from any of you, im far from professional as far as 3d modelling goes but im wondering if someone will complete 1 of my projects, i am making a 1992 ford sierra sapphire cosworth, iv made this model using Ac3d v6 and i am prepared to convert it to 3ds max or zmodeller if necessary, but i dont understand how to apply the dunny files etc needed to convert to san andreas... if any of you would be interested in taking my project on pklease let me know through email >>>>>>> TONEBEE @ LIVE . It appears that even though it said it wouldn't be abandoned in the description, it was abandoned anyway in the first stages of changing names of places....haha
