The "Ray of Hope" modification is the dream of the most in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.'s community, it's like the name says. This mod gives you the possibility of surviving in the zone with your team-mates, with not only NPC, but also other players.

Old and new locations. We still have a lot to do, new quest locations, places to explore, anomalies to place. Underground to expand etc.
I've been tracking this mod for sometime now and I have several questions concerning the mod:
1. Since all of the Stalker Games are essentially in one region will this mod contain all the levels and maps from all three games combined?
2. If yes for question one then will there be separate releases of the mod to allow for all three of the games storylines to be played.
3. Will this game include new quests with the addition of these new areas?
4. Will any work be done to the weapons or textures to add an HD effect?
5. Will this be standalone or will I have to merge these files with over the original stalker files?
6. Driveable Cars?
7. How much of the three stalker games will be played with this mod, campaign wise.
I only ask alot of questions when a mod really grabs my attention, keep up the good work. I can't wait to start playing!
1.The aim was all maps from all 3 games, but we did hit a engine limit. So looks like we need to split the big *** map into 2 big maps with 6 main locations and all the new ones we make. By no means the maps are not small though, you could add 300 players there and most of them would never see each other until visiting faction bases.
2. There will be separate release after full online release, co-op release of sorts.
3. Yes and yes, new monsters and anomalies, new lore and locations. New quest mechanics.
4.Yes, as now the textures are just placeholders. We have full rights to use AtmosFear 3 and other stuff from our collaboration with other mod makers. Also we got in house animations and textures.
5. First it will be a mod for CoP and hopefully standalone in the future.
6. Maybe, we are testing them but if they don't fit the games theme we drop them.
7. We got a main story line, can't say how big it will be yet, but all factions got their own quests to do. Reputation system etc.

I love you guys. You did deliver and I am amazing. Lately, people kinda disappoint with their work, but you did an amazing work. Totally loving everything you've done so far. The trailer gave me chills, I cannot explain you the excitement I have for this. Playing Stalker together with a few friends of mine will be the greatest feeling I've ever had in quite some time.
The atmosphere seems to be there and that's all that matters, I will definitely love it!
Thank you for the kind words. Our devs back at the home base use quite a lot of their free time to mod this thing, 6+ years already gone with it and finally the engine is refined enough for us to start with the actual game mechanics, locations, lore and so on. Sadly some setbacks now and then but all of us should be able to play together soon enough.

Play Shadow Of Chernobyl with Autumn Aurora, AMK and other great mods. Of course you could play it without mods, or light mods that change some things, like able to repair your gear.

this mod, no... game would be more accurate.
it would essentially be S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 4 (series wise) if spiffed up and polished after initial release, especially seeing the amount of differences, tonnes of work and features you guys work your ***** of for.
the concept is fanfriggintastic & awesome... if done right it would revive the series within a heartbeat as it promises the best of the 3 stalker games and more. ( concerns are as usual.. stealth/gunplay/a-life/story/npc's/content/etc...).
please deliver and make me happy, and with me probably lots of others.
i wish i was able to help with the level design aspects... but i dont know how, as i am not familiar with the editing software to help and edit the levels...
because, okay, this might be me nitpicking on early preview videos and please do not take this as offence, but.
with design part i mentioned i meant that after watching the videos, while it looks great and sounds exciting, and it really does.
i tend to mis a certain fidelity, or greebling/greebles, life... or however you want to call it, the other games had.
for example the part you walk throught a traintunnel in the latest video, or buildings after it, they are a great example, it looks fine, but it needs the extra touch for it to come alive and not be a void tunnel.
with previous buildings and tunnels shown in that same video, it looks like you guys are working on this, however when i look at it, stuff feels a bit out of place, or random but misplaced, as if placed there without... soul... i dont really know how to explain...

all 3 of these tunnels are bland and simple, geometry, tunnel shape and colour wise, like yours.
difference to yours and the first, it feels kinda proper and alive, due to its strange path, misaligned boardwalk at places, piping and ambient lighting all which for a stalker game could be made horrid to suit the atmosphere by breaking stuff, adding some water puddles and that sort of thing.
the second doesnt really need an explanation... its the lighting and greebles, break the lighting up, crack the tunnel here and there, drop some of the ceiling cabling at random, a anomaly puddle/effect here and there and you have a stalker setting.
the third... well... already is great, lightning esque, crap, and the feel and all (overexposed light going from point A to B creating funky pattern and ambient light, the symmetry not being perfect(tunnel/rails) etc,).

as i said, i am probably nitpicking over nothing serious, but thats basically what i like doing, and what i am great at fixing at... and a curse as i keep seeing these kind of things...
my apologies if you take this offensively in any way, i just like to see this kind of thing not become 'good'... i want to see this kind of thing become even better then "Great! & Awesome!" combined.
You sure have done your research. And good feedback. Try to keep in mind that the map making etc started under/around a year ago. We still have a lot things to do. It took some time to finish the maximum size of the whole map. And other playable areas. Before we can fine tune anything regarding you have just said. The best textures are not even in place on this video. The video is just to show how big the game world will be compered to the usual S.T.A.L.K.E.R experience. Sorry for the slow feedback. Totally forgot to check old posts we have done.

Hi, love this mods idea and execution, and i wanted to ask if the anomalies will be scattered all over the map or just in large groups/fields like vanilla?
