Can't wait to play with this one. It definitely has it's better angles but is still much better looking than the Strike Cruiser.

Hang on a sec, you know I love your ships, but I have to voice some critique here.

Your ships have a tremendous amount of polies and your victory for example has 6 2K^2 maps, which, with bump maps, makes 12 2K^2 maps. That's a huge amount of texture memory taken up. This game only runs with 2 GB of memory, 4 with a 4 GB memory patch (and good luck getting people to install that, my whole comment section is filled with people unable to follow a three-step program) and I fear that unless you make a serious downsize on your texture size, FoC is simpely going to run out of memory and crash. Perhaps consider some optimization for your ships?

When i made the Kontos, Victory and Fulgor, i didn´t had EAW in mind for them to be used, it was Stellaris, that will choke on it´s very poor made AI code in lategame then model usage.

Yes the Victory and Kontos do use alot of polygons, i already changed with the Fulgor the approch for round geometry (not the Engine exhaust) to not use to much cycles and general use for geometry, like with the Kontos and Vic . (atleast i hope that is the case)

About modding EAW that is not the case and not intented, the ships i intend to make from the Intersector starting are for my Starpoint Gemini Warlords mod, where corvette sized ships have around 30k polygons and bigger ships going higher. (no intend to especially reach that high)

And gerneraly it is up to the one who uses the models about texture size, i gave them in 2k in the release out, since that is what i use for my mods, everyone is free to decrease it down to what they need (i use paint.net for that, in stellaris i made the diffuse 2k, normal and spec maps 1k).

If needed i can give 4k or 8k maps too, about the polygon count on the Vic, you can always delete the antenna on the wings, front and bridge to save a nice amount of polys, they are a nice touch to the ship not much more, for the Kontos it will need some more editing :)

Next ship i made, was the Kontos- class Star Frigate.

Made some renders in Substance Painter 2 for that, without weapons. Sergeant Barlex already rigged it for the mod and can be seen here: Moddb.com
