Republic Assault is a full scale conversion mod for the Petroglyphy game Star Wars Forces of Corruption. Using elements from both the current canon, and existing EU to create the best possible game experience.
So this is nothing concrete, but I really wanted to know some opinions on these concepts I had.
So the first one, as seen in the image, is the Clone guard. The idea was he's basically a guard of high ranking individuals like the Clone Commander in the field team.
Next concept I had was a more specialized field team. With the recent addition of the field team, I though instead of just plain carbine guards, why not have a bit more in specialization. So there would be a sniper, vanguard (PLEX), carbine or riflemen, and a Z6 clone.
Third concept is a GC space mining facility. Similar to the mining facility on land, this would basically take the skirmish asteroid mining facility and make it build able.
Final concept is a refinery building. The idea is basically the RaW refinery, in which it's a one time per planet build, with enhanced income. The current stats are as follows:
A 10% boost to the base planetary icome
An absolute income modifier of 35, though I'm not quite sure what this does
and a 3.0 multiplier on mining colonies
Once again, these are all concepts I recently had and would love any advice.
All are pretty good ideas. Maybe have the Clone Guards for default/random Clone Commanders that can be built, because Commanders like Bly already have their own guards.
Thanks, my main idea was to have them for generic heroes like with what you said with the generic commanders. So instead of the clone commander and 4 carbine troopers, the carbine troopers would be reskined to have the guard shoulder pads.
Just one question, did you maybe thought about replacing RAW model of republic star destroyer with clone wars model? I mean I like that one more (clone wars model) so just asking.
While I'm all for using TCW animated series style content, I'm not a big fan of the design of the Venator. My personal preference is on the movie style design by Evillejedi (RaW).
