Raising the Bar is a mod based off of the idea of amalgamating the earliest concepts of Half-Life 2 into a coherent story. This mod is not a leak-fix, nor is it a concept art recreation gallery; it will be a full story with inspiration from the old material as well as our own ideas of how to make it all fit together.

Not bad but you modeled the small 15 round mag onto it :/ the larger conventional 30 round variant would look much better in my opinion ...
I maked this exactly like in beta haha. In beta you got same size magazine trust me pal and i just remake of the original to HD :)
in that case id have it coded to have 15 rounds and unlike the combine smg1 its should have a semi auto secondary fire mode to compliment its full auto capability.
Game play wise it would make an interesting machine pistol or tier 1 type of weapon.
A magazine with 15 rounds is too bad, people will want 30 rounds, but is easy to change that.
While I agree with Boker on the point of people wanting high-capacity magazines, the leak clearly depicts it as having the small 15-round magazine. And correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no specific concept arts about the MP5K, so the only thing to use for inspiration is the leak model. Besides, if people want 30+ rounds, why not just find a combine MP7?
Combine MP7s use 25 and 45 round stick mags as per my re imagined concept versions are. My variants also have both an internal 20x85mm GL like the OICW, & conventional and recycled Russian 30mm GP-30 GLs on the MP7A1 like variants.

well the MP5K was and is primarily a PDW that can be hidden in a suit case for example. This is also why I said have a semi auto fire mode as well as unlike the pistol the MP5K would be more accurate die to its fore grip and longer barrel compared to the USP pistol.
Phenixtri, that's my point. While the MP5K can fire EXTREMELY fast, it is balanced by having switching fire rates (Full or 3-round) and a smaller magazine than the MP7. Now Mr. Zip could probably tell you whether he will be using semi or 3-round burst on it. And actually the pistol already is very accurate if you use controlled shots (crouching helps as well), while the MP5K was built for CQB usage from the start. On the topic of magazines, it would make the most sense just to stick with 45 rounds for the MP7, since its accuracy is pretty low. The MP5K, I would think, would use either the 30 or 15 round magazines(Or maybe a hybrid 20-25 round magazine made by the Combine).
