Nice man! One question: you posted a screen with an artifact detector some time ago. Does that mean that you are also trying to add them to the mod?

That was back in 2015 in RMA RP. I know how to add them and did so many times, but always removed them. Back then it was because at one point later in the game the detectors stopped working. In RP2 I had a problem with static artifacts spawning twice which I didnt figure out the cause of even after hours of trying. If this problem is solved then I will add them again.

The modder of the Amnesia 3 mod was able to implement them. If you want to hit him up, thats his profile: Moddb.com. Hes also a really dedicated modder and im sure hes eager to help. Maybe you guys can even team up. I would really love to see detectors. I think they add a lot of authenticity. I mean those invaluable rare artifacts, the equivalent of gold during the gold rush, just laying around and no one cares and picks them up, that seems rather odd. I mean npcs care about looting bodies with ****** aks worth a few hundred rubles, but just walk by an artifact worth 10x that much? thats just unimmersive... Specially because you implemented one of the best ai behaviour ive ever seen in a stalker mod!

I implemented them long before him, back in 2014. The problem isnt the detector mod itself, but another script thats interfering with it. There isnt anything he can help me with (no offense to him).

Ah okay, my bad. Since I already have you: Can you maybe help me with the quest "mysterious sniper" that you get from that one duty guy in the bar? It's about that sniper that appears at night in that tower. I can't seem to catch nor kill him... Thanks in advance

If I remember correctly he appears around midnight and you usually have plenty of time kill him. Just listen for the teleportation sound and sniper shots.

Yeah I know where and when hes supposed to appear. There is a beam of light at the round window of that tower at exactly 00:00 but when I go there I cant see anyone. Even if I stand exactly at the same spot where he spawns I cant see anything besides the beam of light. Also I cant hear any sniper shots... What exactly are you supposed to do? Just wait till the beam of light shows and then just go there and shoot the sniper who is standing there, or is there a trick like you have to sneak? Is there any way I can check that out in some quest files?

There are around 15 new weapons comapred to RC1 + some of the weapons got a better model.
