Escape reality. Radiant Flux is an action-adventure quest mod for Fallout New Vegas. It's fantasy setting and involving questline will take you through many mystical lands, something rarely done in the Fallout Universe.
Here's a quick update on the mod's development. The first one, in fact.

I have two guys and one potential woman ready to start recording the very first bit of dialogue. I've done a few trial runs in the past to familiarize myself with the lip syncing process, so now it is just a matter of patience and getting quality voice overs.
Oh, god. So much to navmesh. Once the navigation meshes are in place, you'll start seeing NPCs. It will just take a bit to get done.
I've decided to take it upon myself to create my own music for the mod. I've taken two music production courses in the past and have amateur equipment to make it happen...let's see what I come up with.
Texturing the acquired models has been coming along gradually so far. The aim is to give as many variations to the planned weapons as possible, so when you're defeating baddies you're always finding something new (or a more powerful version of that something). Interesting enough, I found another person willing to model some brand new weapons of abstract style. And a good friend of mine has sparked a new style for the weapons: "Candy Guns". Stay tuned for the details and results.
I haven't had much time to begin building the cities (yes, there will be cities), but I'll get around to it once all the necessary assets are in place. Worldspace development is coming along gradually, so I thought I'd allow you all to see 3 of the areas completed so far. The biggest debate for me when designing these worlds has been LOD, for I'd like some of these lands to have awesome views...but not at the expense of file size/performance. You've seen these areas in the screens, now here they are in show reel. Enjoy.
