Sorry to be the one to bring you this news but:
The mod is officially dead.
Hey all. First news post from me. :D Well, as no-one else has posted anything, I thought I'd step up and give you all a pointer as to how the mod...
We've posted a lot of media but we haven't really said anything about how it's going. Anyway, one of our coders has left us. We seem to...
We have released our first concept art to show that the mod has gone public. Rabbit Deathmatch is a deathmatch mod for Half-Life 2, that has various rabbit...
it's not dead. it's just slowed down. i don't know where our description has gone.
This mod dead... That makes bunny cry :(
looks nice gusy.
watching , Always open for some new fun to explore :D
This mod is going to be pretty funny :D oh my god i want it NOW!
this is too awesome.
That rabbit is still an extreme wip, of course it is going to look low detail and such.
Oh...one other thing...that extremely low detail rabbit SMG looks more like a pig than a rabbit...well, it's like a pig cross bread with something else...
Make a higher detailed one...I could probably do one, but ....meh, i've got my own mod to do....I guess I could still screw around and make a rabbit though.
concept art ISN'T easy, and to be honest, that is more like the scribble I used to do in my art class during year 12...which was not what I was supposed to be doing in class...but anyway.
The mod maybe a community project or whatever, but I don't see it going far at all...I still cross my fingers and hope to god that you guys are not just another bunch of people with some models and crummy drawings to say you've made progress, and some wierd concept of the game...
If it pulls through...AWSOME!, if it doesnt...it's no big surprise for me.
I was going to make something similar a while ago, hell I even did the weapon concept art and wrote down functions, animations, etc for them...but did I do anything about the mod...hell no.
Right now i'm doing a mod (unannounced), which will remain unannounced until it's almost done...and just a tip for the mod team:
Don't announce your mod until you're dead set on doing it, you may have a few model renders and concept art, and some VERY basic maps, but that doesnt mean that the mod is going somewhere, next media update, try and get a weapon in the game, people will start being more convinced that it is making progress...and I suggest looking for some more programmers aswell.
This is going to be the awesomness!!!!! Cannot wait!! We need more mods like this, not where you have to go around just killing Combines or something, just making something like this is a true mod!!
