QUAKE | System 4 is a small episode add-on for Quake 1. _collection For centuries, Earth's most elite men of wealth and power kept the flux of a dark tradition alive. Military, megacorporations, government and research aligned together as the powerful group known as "System 4". With their strong belief that domination of lower society would please timeless occultic forces (including other-dimensional 'Shub-Niggurath') and bring about immortality and demigod status, the governmental wing set forth a gradual plan of transparent control. With initiation of the plan set forth, the first couple control groups consisting of prisoners and dissidents were gathered under the guise of "national security". _transmogrification Internally funded research laboratories were tasked with bringing together technology and archaic black arts (enchantment, necromancy, diabolism, etc.).
