I'll post a better pic later on when I have done more to the body of the ship, for now I wanted to post what I've been workin on as I was more concerned with how it worked and worry later on how it looks.
The mechanics are very complex to also get the timing right as well takes a bit of patience, but I'm glad to say it's working out good and I've built some more parts of the ship and it is looking better than this placeholder pic. you'll see what I mean when I post an update for it.
Thanks :)

Bloody hell that looks good.

I don't know if you've seen it but the behind the scenes documentary 'Prometheus: The Furious Gods' goes into some detail about the designs of various things (including that of the Prometheus itself) so may be of some interest to you:

I bought the bluray with all the extras, it's very informative.
however I still have to build and texture everything from scratch all the same. :) Thanks though! and that is 3hrs long too there's alot of things there I did find useful.

I'm still working on this and it's getting there, the engines are done now the body will be worked on and detailed as this is just a placeholder until I shape it and texture it.
