Project Vanshing Point takes place in a city that has been abandoned for the last 50 years. While different factions roam the outskirts and mountains a distress signal begins erupting from the tower at the center of the city. your mission is simple: travel through the abandoned city and figure out what is happening at the heart of the tower. We are trying to push source to it's limits to expect the requirements to be fairly high for a source based game.

some thing wrong at this picture... and a whole place... doesn't look right.
You mean the buildings in the background? Thats because they are further down the cliffside than the level itself. It feels very natural in-game :)
no, i'm talking about a whole place, this parking looks odd.. something not as right planned
It might get redesigned if it makes no sense. We havent had any playtesters comment on it so we will remember to ask them the next time we test.
I was thinking the same. Could do with some layered fogging, getting heavier around the buildings. Looks a little sparse on detailing, especially on the ground. Still good though. I don't really know anything about the limitations of HL2 engine.
Why are all of the cars in a parking lot damaged or destroyed? It shouldn't be this way, since most cars in parking lots were recently on the streets. These cars CLEARLY can't run on the streets.
Another side note, the map seems a little... bland, to say the least. More detail (but not too much) is always a good start. Try making that building to the left taller to match those around it. Don't see many one story buildings near 12+ story apartments.
I think this area is going to get redesigned. It is actually the only remaining area that has not been changed since early alpha. Thanks for the feedback :) The reason all the cars are destroyed is partially because its supposed to look like the city was abandoned suddenly around 50 years ago. Another reason is that we don't have any custom models yet ;)
Add some Fog like Panda said. Maybe some trash decals on the ground?
