Project Revolution is a WarCraft3 : Frozen Throne Mod, that will turn StarCraft:BroodWar into 3D.

The Mod will stay true to the original StarCraft:Broodwar. No Races will be added, no heroes, no Units or skills. Just plain old SC. In 3D. Check out our screenshots to see what we've been working on.

Check out our site and drop a few lines on the forum or visit our IRC channel for a chat with the team if you like.
We're always scouting for talented artists and coders. If you think you can contribute to this project visit our site.

Our holiday present to you: the long awaited Terran Demo.

Unfortunately, it's gonna take a while to see the download on this page so head on over to  Wc3campaigns.net for the download.

Give significant thanks to Cooler and Naga_Warrior for pulling this off during the holidays, it was the first thing on their mind as soon as there was time.  Enjoy :)

 Note: Remember it's a demo.

As a former contributor of the PR Team, let me state this clearly - the mod was ended to to limitations within the WC3 Engine. We never got any sort of C&D from Blizzard telling us to stop production.

In related news, with the StarCraft II Beta delayed until 2010, one of the PR forum members Hug-A-Hydralisk, made the 12 Terran Missions in Project Revolution. How to install them & all related information can be found at the following link.

Cinicraftmods.net

There's also a trailer put up here
Youtube.com

(I'll see if I can get this officially posted on here at some point in the very near future. Until then, enjoy, and feel free to jump over on the PR Boards and give props to Hug-A-Hydralisk).

No, they really did have coding limitations. There was a long discussion about this before if you are willing to read the previous comments like a handful of pages back. I thought the WC3 engine could support it as well, but then Coolermaster started telling me something about higher level code, and how each interceptor in a carrier would need its own script and food associated with it, otherwise they could only come out one at a time. This actually makes plenty of sense. If every unit has to have a food value associated with it, how could the Protoss possibly have carriers with 8 interceptors if the carriers are 6 food to begin with (this is assuming that they can't make their food value 0)? You could raise the food limit of the Protoss to be higher so that the food for the interceptors would be accounted for, but then the player could just mass another type of unit and have more out on the screen due to a higher food limit (psi). I think they tried their best, and the end result was a decent demo featuring the Terran race.

KLUSTENATOR's correct that was shut down for coding reasons (as I also stated in my last post). For everyone who's still wondering, here's the link to SCLegacy's final Roundtable with the Snowflake Team. it's got all the official info on why the mod was shut down.
