Project: Alpha Three is a mod based on UClassic,which offers a free world,you can go everyhwere. The player is able to do and move everywhere and he can decide about whatever he wanna do. It is worth to explore dangerous places to get new items.You get orders by Nalis and Marines and the story goes on. You are a soldier,whose ship was shot down by the Skaarj and landed on the planet Alpha Three. However,he's not alone.Many others Marines fighting everyday for their life. The Skaarj warrior wanna get this planet,doesn't matter what it takes.

How to activate the translator thing?
So far its really cool, but the game crashes after I load the save, the screen will just freeze and I'll have to End Task it. Is this a common problem?
This is a great mod! Is there any way to play this with another person?
Just go into your UT2004.ini and change the menus back to 2k4's defaults.
Then you can choose UClassic from the gametype menu. The problem is that it messes some of the interface up. Players also only have one life.
You could also just run a batch file or use a shortcut, too.
To the makers of this mod: This is a GREAT mod, but it needs some perfecting. The real-life feature (which is freaking awesome, by the way) doesn't let players go through certain doors.
Also, for some reason, items don't spawn properly for me. I know that there's supposed to be a translator and fruit near the cross at the first level, but they aren't there.

Very beautiful, well-constucted maps, though sometimes I just crash with a SIGSEGV [segmentation fault] error in random places.

Yes i know,but i would love to get rewards :)
I love this mod,but it is impossible to finish those stupid quests.Like finish up the skaarj base - when you leave the building killing the giant guy with rockets,you go to the camp leader and it tells you again to go back to the base and attack,though i have done everything right.It is impossible to complete the game.I am saying this because quests are impossible to complete if you go to another map,and go back to the first one.
you can see in the second video how to finish the skaarj base quest.
LOVED the part where you climbed the houses to find the hidden body armor. thats the fun little things i like about games. requires a little thinking and skill
