Precipitation is a package for creators to add rain, snow, and potentially other weather effects to their maps in Deus Ex.
Indoor areas will generally have nodes placed outside of them to denote where the player can see out, to spawn precipitation there. This used to be a pretty convoluted process in the old version, but now it uses a more convenient Event/Tag paradigm, which also lets you see how the nodes connect in the editor.
Nodes also inherit precipitation settings from the zone they inhabit now, so you don't need to mess with density 'n' junk anymore.
