ModDB profile address: RECENT VERSION: BUILD 13 FINAL Pirates of the Caribbean is a very nice pirate Role Playing Game for PC. Although the game was far from great, it was certainly good fun, apart from the bugs. Fortunately for the players, the game could easily be modified and that is how the Build modpack began. The Build contained all good mods joined into one package for easy installation. I started messing around with modding after Build 12 was released. I made a couple of small mods myself and added all mods that other people made into what soon became a major add-on for Build 12. Finally, two years after the release of Build 12, this modpack has been released as Build 13, introducing many new bugfixes, features, mods, character models, locations, items and yet again enhancing the game quite a lot. Build 13 Final is the final full installation version for Build 13. Work is in progress on Build 14, for which several Alpha versions are available for public testing here.

New Horizons on Maelstrom has come quite far recently thanks to the efforts of ChezJfrey, Mirsaneli, and Mitrokosta. And these awesome skyboxes are the work of Modernknight1.
This means that the latest version of PotC: NH is close to fully playable there, and things that don't yet work are being fixed.

To showcase this, these two videos have been uploaded to our YouTube channel; courtesy of Mirsaneli. (As are the screenshots here.)

A few of the benefits of this are that you won't need any extra workarounds if you have an Intel iGPU, and that you won't have to limit the FPS to 60 in Windows 10. Also it will look and run better than Storm 2.0. There are other improvements, but for the sake of simplicity I won't list them all here.

May ye have a jolly time, the sea awaits you.

Can't wait for the switcheroo to the new engine...looks very epic! Now we just need some new texture effects like wet overlays and depth via diffuse, normal and height maps ^^

This looks amazing. I am so grateful for all the hard work and dedication this team has shown. I have had a lot of fun playing New Horizons; it is so intricate and allows you to fully realize your own adventures in the Age of Sail. To see that this team still seeks to enhance that experience is really heart-warming
