Zonju V: Locals and Criminals image - Pirates vs. Mandalorians mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption

Zonju V is a small world in the wild space, a hive of scum and villany in it's own right. It's settlers live in absolute poverty under the heel of an extensive network of gangs and their loyalties (most of which are to the depth of their pockets). The world had little of value, mostly slave labor, and underqualified slave labor too, the destitute population was forced to work to survive, for food and 'protection.' But suddenly the planet began to appear on maps, a valuable resource was discovered underneath it's desert sands; crystal deposits. Massive ones too. And a bitter fight broke out over who controls the planet, from the highest echlon of Imperial heiarchy to the lowest points in the Zonju canyons; it's dry crust now moist with blood. The citizens of Zonju, saw this as an oppertunity to break free, the gangs saw this as an oppertunity to make thier fortunes, and so began the resistance. And as foreign ships began to land on Zonju, this became a deciding factor...
