Ok, as a few of you know now, we have begun production on PVK II. Many of you may have heard of and played PVK for the original Half-Life. Well, we've gathered together a few heavy fans and some others to begin production on PVK II for Half-Life 2.
For anyone who has no idea what PVK was, it was a mod entitled "Pirates Vikings and Knights", In which the three teams went at it at the same time, with different gameplay modes like "Capture the Booty".
To start you all off, I have posted a few images of models I have made, most of which will get a lot more work done on. You can check those out in our mod profile.
Unfotunately, however, we still need to make a site, and so I drew up a concept of what it will look like, which you can click on below to view.
Now, you will be presented with many options eventually once we get the site up and running. There will be a setting to choose from for each of the three teams, the one above being for the knights. You will be able to choose between 800x600 or 1024x768. You can have it in flash, where the background will not only animate, but the weather and time of day will change also. On top of that, we will customize the setting for all four seasons and add decorations for holidays, once we get it all ready.
The main page will appear on the scroll that is attached to the top board, which will roll out when a link is clicked.
That's about all the news I think i can post for now, due to all the space on the page that seems to be taken up as it is ;). Just know that HaVoK is currently modelling the Knight Mace, neko is working on the Pirate Cutlass, and MahaTma is skinning the Seaxe.
