This mod aims to turn Calradia (Warband's native world) into a fantasy one by adding several fantasy races, weapons, magic, monsters and new factions and cities. The mod is currently an open beta so there is still much to do and polish, but it is quite fun.

Balrog are made of shadow and fire. And they are giants. Red-skinned demons kind of cheapens the name. Please at least don't call them Balrog. Also, can you fly with the wings on the battlefield, or are they for show? What about making a Lizardman race? Hob/Goblins, Oni, maybe a walking mushroom. It's a fantasy setting, right? Go nuts! The typical human/orc/elf/dorf lineup is so boring...

Main issue is Warband has a hard coded, absolute limit on the number of skins (16 skins, numbered 0 through 15). Skins impact the way armor is displayed, the mapping of armor pieces to skeleton type for animations in combat, and for the scaling in size of each agent using that skin. Although you can sort-of fake having more "skins" by really using say human skin and then having items worn to look like monsters, this gives other problems in limiting the face and what happens to hands or the lower body if ever undressed. What if a player wears those "clothes"? And so on. 3 year old post getting a reply only because it still applies to the limits Phantasy 2017 has to live with.
