Persistence is an attempt to create a free MMORPG for the Source Engine. Many claimed that this was impossible, but an early private alpha suggests otherwise. Persistence is a fantasy MMORPG in a medieval setting. Sounds like any other generic Warcraft clone right? That's where you're gravely mistaken.

I suggest you use some Day of Defeat textures (such as shingles and maybe some of the stone and plaster/timber textures) and, if theyll let you, some Age of Chivalry textures. Alternatively create your own textures. I think that with some really hard work this could indeed become a great hit :D
yea but no one is smart enough to do so. modding teams just keep doing their own stuff, still good luck with the mod
