Perfection is an action packed game where the player takes control of a mentally disturbed assassin, whose sanity is warped to the point of accepting contracts to indulge his perfectionist habits. The player will have the ability to scout out the victim’s location, using logic to formulate a plan of attack beforehand and then use whatever methods they deem necessary to carry out the assassination. Perfection allows the player to participate in both the planning and execution stage of being an assassin and has them striving for that ‘Perfect Kill’.

There needs to be a message saying "Video processing, check back later" instead of "Video not found". I swear I see someone commenting this on almost every video.

very nice. looks fun and keep up the good work. One thing I hope you change is when you jumped off the building after tipping the sign over you didnt get hurt, or die. I think you should make it a bit more realistic (I know this is just a demonstration but im just pointing it out)

There was actually some damage, if you look again our lecturer has the HUD off screen :P But yeah, certainly a jump like that will be sorted for the release, it was simply a method of speeding the demo along.

Have you considered a tripod? Watching game footage in shaky-cam is not enjoyable.

This was our university lecturer recording the video, just to see our progress. So when we make our own official videos, they will be recorded ingame and of a higher qaulity :D

why he got negative karma? Isn't it that obvious to use some kind of ingame recording? It's so much more demonstrative nad we can see the detail much better! Fraps or at leat in-game Source recorder... +1

Pleeeeeeease read the notes at the side of the video. As I mention there, it was either this video or nothing for now. It was only uploaded as we have it on hand!

Well to settle it i upped both of you! whats a bet ill get downed...but seriously use the source recorder if anything, the video looks really bad reasons:

1 it keeps shaking (cant blame you)

2 its skewed and cant see the screen properly half the time.

if you do that we can appreciate its deserved quality!

Description

A quick look at how things are going with Perfection. This was actually a presentation for the university of how well we are progressing, so the map is somewhat toned down from our current version.

Nick Edwards (NickEd90) gives a hands on demonstration to show off some of Perfections mechanics, Nick Richardson (NickRic) shows some current in-progress animations for one of our custom weapons and Iain Dawson (Nivi) plays one of many custom audio tracks that will be included in the mod. You also get to see members browsing ModDB, which is never a bad thing!

There may be some sound issues as the video camera our lecturer is using is a bit pants, but you can see what you want to see!

NOTE: We can't help the shakiness, like we said before this was for the sake of a university project. We are not ready to release a proper video (and when we do, of course we will be using Fraps) but we thought that a slight indication of what is going on may interest you guys :)
