This mod will evolve your Max Payne 2 experience to a whole new level, one step closer to its successor Max Payne 3. With new models, weapons, animations, graphic effects, sounds, particles, and so on this mod will improve your good old Max Payne 2 to make it shine again in the next generation gaming.
This is a very both amazing and innovative mod. It has transformed the simple 6th generation game it's successor. It has almost complete similarity with it's follower, except the one thing that I can see it doesn't have is a over-the-shoulder aiming system, and cover system(Which was in Payne Effects 3, so copying the code and putting it into Payne Evolution would not be difficult). While the mod doesn't have those two functions, it still is overall an amazing mod. I would recommend for any Max Payne 2 owner who hasn't played the 3rd game, or just wants to experience it. If a new update comes out including those two systems I will rewrite this review, and give a higher rating, but the rating is not what it doesn't have. The mod includes DLC, extra levels, Over 10 Dead Man Walking Characters with more levels for each character, and even some new Max Payne 3 maps. On top of that there are Max Payne 3 weapons, the weapon switching and collecting system from Max Payne 3, Max Payne 3 audio, music, and sound. And even models of Max Payne 3 characters themselves. I'm not trying to say there is too much in this mod, but there is just so much that you may not have to explore and enjoy it all. This is practically a new game all in itself.

You can find and thank them if you enjoy this mod, and even give your own opinion on it. This mod is breathtakingly similar to Max Payne 3, and it is amazing how they managed to fit all of the content that they did into it. If I could ask one thing of this mod it would be to add the OTS aiming and Cover System into the mod, besides that it's a perfect clone of Max Payne 3. I advocate all the effort all the creators into this. Which is why I give it a 9/10! (I'll give a 10/10 if those two system tweaks are added.)
