No one will remember him mod for Amnesia: The Dark Descent

4/10 Not bad, however I was unsure of what to do at that door with the big light, after the water monster part, so i just barrel clipped through. Not much to this story, but there's a funny moment or two here and there, and the map design wasn't too bad, wasn't great, but not terrible. Not bad, up to yourself if you want to play it.

I really don't know what to say about this one. It had a few good points but no reall story at all and way too many cheap jump scares. It also had way too many monster encounters. All of which made it not scary at all.

So i played it:
But i wrote a recension 2 times already and it was gone suddenly so im ****** now, whatever heres what i thought in short: some mapping fails, not fun for both the fun searches and the real deal, but okay; good shot for your first map, i liked the plot. for the real deal: i wouldnt play this if i were you cuz its flying naked guys and sudden monster spawning. But the monster chases are cool,so you could play this if you want some chases and small puzzles. For the unserious fun searchers: PLAY! If you already have seen Troll Story, The Small Horse, Its Hurting My Eyes, Troll Map v2 and all that kind of storys, well, here is another one!

[for serious players: 2.5/10 (map fails, mean jumpscares, simple)]

[for unserious players who are looking for fun and have played some of the well known maps: 8.5/10 its fun and it has it all for you, but there are some misplacements so thats a bummer]

However, i want to compliment you on one scene (small spoiler) its the scene where you look to the left, you hear music....... BOOOM! lol i laughed and screamed myself to death omg that was so funny hahahaha compliments on that hahaah really cool

So if you want to see your friends get jumpscared or just like jumpscares and stuff for a laugh: play this!

I you dont: dont play this unless you want some monster chases...

Im gonna be honest, i didnt play it yet, so ill give you another comment in a few moments or an edit, but whatever, i like nooby stories, its super fun most of the time, i play games with glitches, so nooby maps should be good for me, im gonna try this out and see if its fun (in a derp way) or not...

Alright, I played it and this is what I think:

Positives:

- A few working scripts like the valve opening a door, and the bookshelf
- Not many at all, but at least a few surrounding sounds

Negatives:

- Horrible grammar (I'm not good at english either, but come on! This is first grade english :s)
- Horrible level design! Walls are not connected to each others, texture glitches, "holes" in some of the walls, props are floating in the air, tourches are upside down, the water is not working like it should etc, etc

- Way too many monster encounters! Every room, every quest, every area, monster, monster, monster!
- Flying naked guys! Dead people flying in your face is NOT SCARY more than once!

- 90% key quests
- The keys are always named "Machine room key" or not named at all
- Same name on the notes 9/10 times and most of them completely pointless and 1-2 lines long at most

- Horrible lightning! I could go from darkness to boxlightning without any connection light in between
- No details at all nor billboards
- The guy you talk with are stuck in the window itself

Conclusion:

A really lame attempt to create something entertaining. The levels are really bland, boring, lacks more or less everything and the story is not even a slightly bit scary!

When will you people understand? Amnesia is about atmosphere! Darkness slowly building up. It's NOT SCARY WITH FLYING NAKED GUYS AND MONSTERS IN EVERY ROOM!! It completely destroys the gameplay! You can add panic events if they actually fit! Flying naked guys don't fit 99% of the times!

I can understand if this is your first story, but you need to work alot more on it! Every map are somewhere between 50-230 KB huge. A mapper with experience can make maps huge as 500KB to 5MB each. The 50-230KB you have in each map are only the details. Often even less. The size don't really matter, but it's obvious how much work you put into this story with that size. Not much.

2/10 - Really bad

Change it from TBD - To be decided to the offical release date. People wont find your story in the relased list. Only in the list of unfinished stories. I bet you will get more downloads if you change that
