This is what will make that tunnel in the previous pic.

Hopefully I can get a trailers to work. Otherwise this one won't be there in the final.

More arms and drilling tools will be added too.

I really like this design, especially the trailer

however, I think the drill-bit is a bit to small (it has to make a large enough hole to let the vehicle actually pass trough it)

Might be better to replace the tracks with some kind of corkscrew drilling system so the whole thing could just move through the earth.

I think that would be going too far as this thing will travel on the sruface a lot. I will add some more drill stuff to it though. A lot of stuff is meant to open out once its underground.

Screw-propelled vehicle works fine on land. They in fact, works better than wheels or tread on rough terrain. Here: En.wikipedia.org

Here's how they works:

Perhaps look more at the TS Devil's Tongue Flame Tank or the Warhammer 40k Hades Breaching Drill design? I always found those designs to be more logical then a single pointed drill up front (which most of the times doesn't cover the entire vehicle).

Thats why I made the tracks cover the hull/chassis. The drill will be bigger though.
