It is nearly impossible for one or two persons to do mapping, modeling, scripting, rigging, animating, voice acting, texturing, etc all by themselves. I for instance am mainly a mapper, so i make maps and ask other people if i may use there content that they uploaded to for instance Gamebanana. What is against this way of working, i really don't understand your problem with this.
I didn't say 1 or 2 people had to do everything, so where did that come from? if you need help, ask around for others willing to help with models, textures, voice acting, etc. my problem is that there are many mods on Moddb that use content without credit. it just gets old. take mods like HALF LIFE 2 ~ReMiX~2018 edition, that mod basically took stuff from Gamebanana without any credit at all. I'd personally feel better if the developer of this mod gave credit for the skins.
Ok, better you said that in the beginning. Because i fully agree with you, people should credit the makers ofcourse. Why aks people to make stuff for your mod when people have already uploaded tons of stuff so people can use it, don't see the difference there. Thing is, hardly anyone replies to when you ask for assets. I have asked over the years several times on loads of forums and sites and no one answered. And those that could answer and help already were working on there own projects. So all is left is to go to sites as Gamebanana and take it from there, of course, FIRST aks for permission, and, give credit on screen and in readme.txt etc. It's not so easy as you think, i really did all that, for 18 years. And i get upset then when people just comment that you have to do this and that, when it is actually much harder and most of the times not even possible. So maybe you now get why i am reacting kind of strong on your comment. But, no problem, its all good. :)
Made a lil gameplay video showcasing the current state of this mod
He said underneath post there were going to be 10 to 14 maps LOL!
ummmm.. ok
Made a YouTube Video About Outstrike and its a review
How many maps will there be in this mod.
Like 10 or 14
Well this mod will never see the light of day.
can I ask why almost every Half-Life 2 mod seems to use content taken from Gamebanana? is this a trend or something?

And beta stuff for good measure
because not everyone can make their own assets.
well some people can't explain that for some reasons
