Untextured but probably final model
That mag looks a lot better.
Something looks innacurate about this model... Also you should include the M8 or the SCAR. I certainly hope that by 2012 we should have escaped the grasp of the M16. In fact in regaurds to your story, it would make sense for any rebels or insurgents to be using them, seeing as armed civilians and the like can usually only get a hold of more outdated weapons.
Oh, and I figured it out. The handle is too short. Or too curvy... Or something. Most modelling programs will let you put images in the background so you can make the model more exact. Colt.com
