Orbis Terminus mod for Crysis

It's 2012, and the US has created outrage. It has claimed to be the most powerful nation in the world. Tensions are high, oil has run out quicker than expected, the stock market isn't showing signs of recovering. The world is in depression. In the middle east, the US have turned on the European troops in a desperate move to secure more oil. Russia is keeping quiet about the oil farms it has in the north atlantic in an attempt to keep things down.

The UN has lost its power, people tried to sort things out between the US and Europe, but got nowhere. Europe declared war on the United States of America, and the EU has become the united body in Europe, with the inclusion of Russia, to combat the US. The middle east has become a mass battle ground. The European Union is renamed the United Europe in defiance.
 

Within the UE, Britain, Germany, France and Russia are the main contenders. The swiss and czech republic have agreed to help with ammunition production, aslong as they don't have to get involved any further. Germany and Britain are proving to be a considerable super power on their own. Their expierence during the 2 two previous wars has proved to be extremely useful. Britain adopts the motto 'Britain Prevails' as a stand against the US, with the entire country's morale the highest it has been since WW2.

Russia, wanting to settle things with the US, have come in on Europes side, vowing to do all that is neccessary to destroy them. It is not a move people have expected, nor one that Russia really wanted to take; but they saw it necessary. Their mass gas and oil farms in the north atlantic ocean are being furiously mined to fuel the war. Not only this, but also pioneering towards entire nuclear powered armies; the waste from all this research being plunged into Uranium Depleted rounds. Britian is turning back to coal, with the mining industry booming and their production levels tripling within a year. The UE is going flat out to secure victory.

This Gentlemen, is World War III.

Gameplay

Player is based on a U.E team, playing on most maps as this team fighting against U.S forces in a variety of locations throughout the world (see website/concept art for more info). First introductionary mission will be slightly different, however.

Navigation is achieved via a map, however radar and the location of enemies and allies isn't enabled. Only your target and current location are shown.

When moving, sprinting walking and jumping all have their relative actions and camera wobble.
The appropriate weapons with have single, burst and fully automatic firing modes.
Recoil from weapons will also be realistic.

The HUD will include:
Health
Clips remaining
Firing mode

It will not include:
Mini map - Map will be triggered as an overlay.
Crosshair/aiming reticule
Detailed Ammo meter
