Orange Sun enhances Tiberian Sun & Firestorm greatly including campaign and increases the gameplay possibilities while remaining the original feel of the game. Basically a rebalancing together with new content and lots of spleen. Now features the Campaign+ modifications.
Something I have been working on are the Muzzle Fire effects (explosion at the end of the barrel). Since they are terribly bugged in TS (thx EA for rushing the game) I cannot place small effects at the end of the barrel. So instead I was like hey why not use bigger ones?
In fact the muzzle fire for tanks today is something quite big I.imgur.com it can be argued if they would be still that big i the future and if it is not too distracting and too much concieling the unit but I kinda like it so here goes xD
Currently there are 3 different Muzzle Fire effects in my recent build. Big tank guns, rockets, small guns. Oh and One for the Railgun that you may have seen on previous pics.
May have to play around more with the Translucency % values. BTW the AI attacks me with such a huge force because they got stuck behind some building, I blew it up and "released" some attack teams xD almost obliterated me.
I always knew there was something wrong with vehicles, this was it! The Muzzle-Effects. But than again, that was the issue in C&C1, too. =)
