For those of you that may or may not know, Opposing Shephard is an unofficial sequel to Gearbox's expansion pack for Game of the Year Half-Life, Opposing Force, which had you take on the role of Adrian Shephard, a soldier sent in to eliminate Gordon Freeman, but you are separated from your base unit and discover a new alien race amidst the chaos. It's quickly revealed that these highly advanced alien life forms descended upon Earth to pillage the planet from the Black Mesa Facility when Gordon Freeman transported to the border world of Xen. Opposing Shephard will continue where Op4 left off, being woken up by the G-man from stasis. Along the way, you'll meet old friends like Otis, the Boot camp instructor, and many more. Hopefully, you'll see our rendition of the Race X homeworld. To summarize, it is a story of war, tragedy, and revenge. Correct me if I am wrong, but combine ships are to be partly biological.

In the art book for HL2 it states that the combine ships were originally normal creatures to which they experimented with and added non-biological components to.

This is an awesome craft, but....it is in no way biological looking in the least.

The rims around the fans look a bit too thick. It makes the ship look like it is really heavy and those fans are not going to be able to lift it.

I would thin the rims.

Outside of that it looks GREAT

The Moddb logo covers the bottom right part of the picture, and cuts out some of the words about "Tritiranium."

Just a heads up.

And you guys do know that 5 feet off the ground isn't very high right? I'd call it more of a hovercraft than a chopper.

Annd, you placed it under weapon model, and you said it was a concept done by MajorPaine...

Anyway, it looks nice, good luck.

DewdInTheNewd: The combine do have some non-biological ships in HL2. There's the Hunter Chopper, which is simply a helicopter. They also use their version of a tank, which isn't biological either.

the ships design is good, bears a similar resemblence to the Osprey from HL1.
But the rotor casings are far too thick. they would give the thickness of the fuselage a run for its money.
thin them down and add more detail, make the missile bays internal as this is the combine you know it would look much sweeter too.

nice design anyways.
You guys desperately need a spell-checker.
