what? To change what? This looks awesome !!! Keep it

This is for pilots not for simple jarhead so it should look advanced and "clean".

Thanks Foxfort.

I think some critique is positive. :)

Dirtying it up isn't as simple as it sounds though.
The original TGAs would easily hold all the subtle blending
between shades. And have more variety of colour.

But the size is too large for a real-time game engine.
So dxt1 compression is used. This reduces file size dramatically. But also loses a lot of the subtlety.

It's not too bad on a vehicle exterior. But in first person
it can look really horrible. So the only way to deal with it,is
to simplify the colour and use more geometry. The simple lighting system doesn't help matters.

I tried to go slightly retro, with crt style screens instead of monitors. And big buttons, switches and dials.I didn't want to go
too far down that road though,as even though the tech is old,it's still
more advanced than present day stuff.

It's not finalised yet,so I'll take any comments into consideration.

It seems to me that you now have even more reason to keep it as it is. I like it this way. What ever you do please keep it 400000k space advanced not like it was from 1970s. As for level of how clean it is, keep in mind that man not orks have build it and using it.

Description

I didn't like my original attempt at this,so I had another go.Apart from
some minor changes,I'm going with this layout. It's not 100% accurate to the models,as it looked a bit sparse. So some bits n pieces are added to fill it out a bit.

The Gunner station will use some of the same layout.
