The area I’m showing here is a spawn point area where lots of battles are tend to occur, so I wanted to have lots of small cover points and also make it into a small fort a team can defend when being pushed back. The spawn is located on the first floor which is accessible from 4 points (two staircases on the front and two elevator shafts in the back). The whole lobby is also placed in an angle of the map to give it a nice overview of the large open area outside, this will give the enemy lots of vantage points to initiate their attack from and cover team mates attacking the spawn point with sniper rifles if they choose to.
I clearly see the influence from Mirror's Edge, and thats nto a bad thing! :D It reminds me of some of the ME pictures I've seen on your blog, amazing work!
