So. Release Version 1.3.
Against my better judgement, I had a look.
- The download itself
The file is nearly 380MBs because, as you'd expect, it includes a lot of the base Half-Life files for no reason (maps, sounds, models, you know the drill). What you might NOT expect is a bunch of Opposing Force and Blue Shift files as well. Because why not? Additionally, the mod directory is an absolute mess of random and un-used files. Icon files, ravenholm.wad, registry entries... this isn't a mod, it's just your main valve directory, isn't it?
- New maps
If there are any, I couldn't find them. The new training map isn't yours - it's a pre-existing map from 2005 called All Out (it's easily found in the first Bad Map Pack from TheUnbeholden). All the other 'new' maps are either taken from OpForce and Blue Shift (which are about 24 years old at this point, so aren't even remotely new) or are taken from other people's work - I found maps from the HL2 in GoldSRC mod (the first of which crashes the game), along with others I definitely recognised from somewhere else. No credits given, as you'd expect.
- New sounds
Awful. Every single one. Irritating, obnoxious and something only a 6-month old baby would find amusing. If you think people actually want to play through a mod with this sort of thing in it, you must be deaf.
- New dialogue
Couldn't understand any of it. Maybe it's funny, maybe not - the audio quality is too poor and the volume too quiet to know for sure, and given the rest of the mod, I doubt it'd be worth the effort to find out. What I COULD make out didn't sound promising... if anything, it sounded like a 15 year old recording on an old webcam.
- New models
Exactly the kind of low-effort rubbish you'd find in any other mess-up mods. All ugly as sin.
- New HUD
Well, the Half-Life logo at the start of the game is all screwed up. Otherwise... yeah, it's pretty much just the default HUD coloured green. Woo.
- "Fixed all bugs"
No. Just... no.
So overall: as we all expected, this is absolutely trash and should be completely ignored.
I actually forgot to mention that the main menu and most of the options have all been rewritten to incredibly immature things.
Some examples:
- The Auto-Aim description is now "Sissy-*** Pussy\Controller Mode"
- Video is now Shiddeo
- The Quit Game option now says "What The ****!!!!!!!" and "Wow ****** Don't Leave Me!!!!!!!!" (yes, there really are that many exclamation points)
...and that's saying nothing of the astonishingly obnoxious sound that plays when you highlight a menu option.
You waste your time for something that doesn't offer anything to the scene. I can't understand why you do this.
I do for fun, for entertainment. I dont waste my time doing this for my its a beautiful Mod, and if you dont like it why you comment here, so go to another poor mod that its worst to here and comment to that mod, you are the most ridiculous comment a ever heard in my entire life
It's called democracy, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and there is freedom of speech. I thought you respect people's opinions, you have stated it here, in another comment. Anyway, have fun and maybe i will be proven wrong about this. Peace.
What you say its literally like hate, you said that why i do this and doesnt offer any ****, bro you cant be normal and chill like that guy like literally doesnt say that i waste my time doing this, man i like making for more than 12 hours and i wake up and still updating this mod.

The creator of this mod needs to know what a "opinion" is.

And yes, I AM tired of simple reskin mods. We ALL are. I wish people would stop making them.
I made it to nine seconds and that was enough to inform my decision. Hard pass.
Also I wish the developers of these type of mods can able to take criticsm and not delete people's comments for no reason
I can actually take criticsm but i dont wanna be that poland kid with 11 year old trying to copy Crack-Life, i delete the comment cause i only put for recommentations and some things can make better for the Mod, if you dont like my Mod i respect your opinion.
Look, you can copy Crack-Life or any mod, game, movie, whatever IF you're going to put out some well made / entertaining stuff. As is, this is the same old HL we've played thousands of times already only with random nonsensical sounds, models etc added to it, no one would bother with this.
I like Crack-Life, I think it's pretty funny but I wouldn't have bothered with that mod if it only gave me the same HL maps and campaign and only included random enemies, sounds, textures and so on.
People aren't bored of Crack-Life clones or mess-up mods, they're tired of bad Crack-Life clones and mess-up mods. Anyone making these should also make new and entertaining maps to go with it, remember that.
