Sleephorst English Translation
Singleplayer MapA complete English translation for the Sleephorst mod.
Once again the player-controlled protagonist Rick has nothing but nonsense in his head.
He wants to play a prank on his buddy Blum by throwing a firecracker in his mailbox late at night.
But suddenly Blums stepfather Uwe Crass run out angry to see what's going on...
Rick has no choice but to finish him.
Right after that, because the door is already open, he wants to visit Blum in his apartment.
Once there, he is teleported by Blum in his latest virtual reality first person shooter.
And this can only be leaved by playing it through...
The first map is a 1:1 replica of my former apartment.
A trainingsmap is also available!.
A lot of fun to all who still have installed HL1 :)

Installation:
I recommend to install the "High Definition Pack" and the "Half-Life update to 1.1.1.0" before.
Unzip Sleephorst to your Half-Life directory.
Start "Sleephorst.bat" (in your Half-Life directory) or activate it in the custom game menu.
The file to unstall is also in your Half-Life directory.
I have mapped it for the english WON verion.
For this reason, I don't know if it's 100% compatible with Steam or with the german version of HL.
The ingame text language is german!

It is pretty challenging sometimes but definitely not as bad as some people make it out to be.
This mod, is one of the most bizzare HL mods I've ever played. It's very hard without using cheats in later levels.
How to escape from the house in begin?
This is by far, the most extrange hl mod i ever play. Personally i dont like it too much, it has some funny things and moments but in general is low quality...some maps are boring, with bad objects scale, bad textures and no sense at all...ok, that could be probably because is "the mod`s style"; i hate it anyway. ;)
So is a bad mod? Mmmr..nope.
Is a good mod? Mmmmmmmmmmmr....nope.
WTF IS IT?
A mod with some very rare and funny moments that you has to play at least one time,an then forget about it. I dont think somebody is going to play this twice.
Dont take this as a bad critism, i really believe the mod need more improving in all things, some maps are like alpha version or something like that; a pity sometimes because i see the idea behind some maps, but if it was mapping so crappy....is a waste.
I give this a 6, is a nice try after all...
Installer has problems extracting the files. I recommend using .rar instead of .exe. That's the best way for HL mods.

I'm rather curious about this mod.
An awesome mod! It has some very original ideas.
When I spawn in, I can't even move,is it suppose to be like this? or is it a glitch of somesort
I know how to fix this. Simply remove the config.cfg file and you should be able to move.
This will restore the original Half-Life's keyboard configuration settings instead of using the broken ones from Sleephorst mod.
