New York Nova mod for Freelancer

A quick, numerous, mod where New York went supernova and destroyed everything in the system. What would Sirius be like without New York?

Well, New York is technically still there: its your starting point. However, you are chased out as soon as you undock by a mine field, and a nomad reputation manhattan. You'll get to fly immediately through a jump hole to Colorado to begin your adventure. Do not think you can exploit manhattan at all, the system is one big mine field and the planet has a nomad rep so you can never redock, but you can use the time you HAVE docked there to trade your starflier for an anubis.

The real new york went nova from an unknown cause, killing hundreds of billions. If you have ever wondered what Freelancer would be like without New York, this is your chance. Is it surprisingly unchanged or surprisingly difficult?

The New York Remains system itself is a total mess, you will have to navigate by following the example of NPCs. The system is fully populated with corporations trying to make the best of a bad situation.

Finally, there is 1 additional border world that links the Outcasts and Corsairs to the New York Remnants system. Can you find it?

This is not the next Discovery mod, but it should give you a day or two of entertainment. I may expand it later, but for now here it is!
