KOSTYLEV Georgii Dmitrievich: In June 1941, he was a pilot in the 5-IAP KBF which in 1942 was renamed 3-Gu IAP KBF. It operates near Leningrad in August 1942 and has already completed 233 attractions and won 41 victories in 59 fights. During 1943, he painted the mouth on the nose of his 5 "15 White" which features 45 stars like so many victories.
He became later the commander of the regiment, ending the war in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after 46 wins and 418 attractions.
