Mod covers the period of the Galactic Empire and Imperial Remnant. It is focused on improving gameplay, adds lots of unique heroes, new scenarios and game modes.
While working with Nar Shadaa map I've decided to make banner props set for urban planets controlled by Empire / Underworld.
Imperial propaganda banners will be widely used on major stronghold planets which are close to Coruscant and Bastion.
Underworld banners will be frequently seen on planets belonged to Hutt Space or smugglers.
A small trifle, but adds an specific atmosphere on maps.

if the planet is controlled by Empire, but was captured by the Underworld, what banner will be used after that?
At first, we have no Underworld faction. Underworld worlds - I mean those which are traditionally connected with hutts, pirates, smugglers, etc.
And yeah, as for now I don't see any sense in changing banners in accordance with political affiliation.
Why? Just go travelling to Eastern Europe :)

Plus that would mean you would have to make a version of the map for Imp/Underworld banners, and I do not believe its possible to make planets' maps faction specific like that.

Knowing about the events of 2014, people still care about them. I didn't mean about cultural heritage, but about banners that promote the political regime. After capturing the planet, they must be eliminated.
All imperial symbols will be removed from post-imperial worlds in scenarios which will take their place after establishment of New Republic.
But I see no sense in making in-game scripts changing planet's battlefield in accordance with its affiliation.
p.s. Most people don't care. I still see hammers & sickles and soviet-styled slogans all around those countries which declared decommunisation.
