So, this is basically a giant coilgun?
not quite The front half is actually a salvaged Jump gate used by the chosen. The second half is a giant coil gun.
Does anyone want me to go into the specifics of how it works?
Electromagnetism is the driver right? Much like the MAC gun in halo?
a ferrous slug projected through a magnetic field yes but no i was talking about the whole set up so the jump gate with a cannon mounted on it. Also heres a link to something of a bug we are working on right now will post a better video later. Youtube.com
basically its us working towards getting the Eldar the ability to make mini jumps and well.... we got this. Sorry for the quality will have a better one up later
