This is a total conversion of Sins of a Solar Empire. five new playble races will be introduced each with differing play styles and apearances. The focus of this mod will be small and large scale fleet stratagy and empire building.
The ss Regala is a mark 2 Longbow captained by a distinguished captain who served not only in the fighting against outercolony insergents but also against the nomads during the T.E.Fs first encounter with them. The SS Regala is equipped like most Mark 2s it has several medium range missle pods and a front mounted unguided missle launcher that fire a special fusion warhead. The Regala has undergone some tweeking by its talented crew who have increased engine output and reienforced armour along with some enhancments to the targeting computer. like any Mark 2 this ship predates the use of shields and insted uses point defence turrents to attempt to protec itself from incoming missles these can only stop so much but thanks to the Regalas enhancments its point defence turrents are slighlty more effective. The Regala was decomishioned almost 80 years ago much to the dismay of the captain who had served on this ship since he had joined the fleet. (please note that this ship is not from current date of the universe which is roughly 2617 insted its from about 2523 so about 50 years before the mark 4 came out.)
