NEOTOKYO° is a first person shooter that aims to provide a visceral & realistic combat experience in a rich futuristic setting. NEOTOKYO° takes place in and around a fictionalized Tokyo approximately 30 years in the future. Mankind has begun to fuse with technology. Government and corporate corruption have transformed Tokyo into a deadly dystopian nightmare. After a near-successful military coup by ranking members of Jinrai, the National Security Force (NSF) is formed - answering directly to the Prime Minister, it's mission is to investigate and eliminate all threats to Japan, both abroad and at home. The initial core of the NSF is made from an exodus from within the intelligence branch of the military. With this betrayal begins the war in the shadows between the NSF and Jinrai.

This is supposed to be a scope overlay, but that didn't render out in the .dem playback... oh well, you'll be able to see it when you get in game yourself!

No, its a shader *motion vision*, any color correction in the level is completely independant of what you are seeing here.

A video card that supports dx9 can go for less than $50 these days.

If you are not running a DX9 card, your frames are going to be **** with or without vision modes, there is no point. Nt is an expensive mod to run, almost every texture is normal mapped, levels are detailed, making our shaders dx8 compatible is not going to make it any better for players not running dx9, I'm just being honest.

The issue is that writing custom shaders takes a lot of time. It takes even more time to get it working on a dx8 since it's such an old technology. The game will work in dx8, but not well. It's still playable though, just play as a recon since you need to use its vision mode the least out of the other three classes.

mabey he's stuck with an AGP slot or something, although there are some nice Dx9 agp cards out there, they are just rare.

Like that you can use thermal vision in a scope! Its really usefull to people like me who have trouble seeing in dark areas on games in a scope at long range.
