Naruto: Naiteki Kensei is a free total conversion of Half-Life 1 that offers a unique fast-paced experience based on the hit Japanese anime Naruto. Players are able to compete online using a system that combines aspects of a third-person shooter and an action-based fighter to provide a new thrilling experience. The system includes casting clever and powerful Jutsus, stringing together Melee combos, evasive acrobatic free-form Movement, and utilizing an array of Weapons with multiple functions all seamlessly.

Does this work on Half-life 2 or Half Life: Source?
- No. To run NNK you need to have the Original Half-life.
Is there any way to play this without Steam?
- No. In order to play NNK you need Steam with a legal copy of Half-life.
Do you plan on moving to Half-life 2?
- No. NNK will always live on the Half-life engine.

its at the loading game part and right when its about to play it freezes iv waited for 40 minutes so ima try another mirror

I KEEP GETTING FREZZEZES OFF FILE FRONT ILL TRY THIS INSTAED
Uh, i cant play this mod at all, I can launch the game and mess around with the options and stuff (i didn't apply the settings though) but when I try to join or create a server, the entire game just freezes and I have to manually shut it down, i wait for around 8 or 12 minutes on average and it still just sits there frozen, i don't know if its i have to wait a little bit longer or compatibility problems or something else, I don't know, I can tell you that I'm running a windows vista 32 bit if that's any help at all.

This game is useless! Soo many bugs and crap that ruins the game. Because of all the bugs(I fixed 1) I cant even join a normal game -.-

noticed its release candidate 1?..of course its filled with bugs..if you're unhappy with the bugs, try reporting the exact bugs with detail?
man i instaleg the game and when i connect to a server it says:

mine dosent freeze when i install it because i installed it and i dont see the start up button like were do u see it wich file god

After successfully installing, I launch it and it crashes immediately after saying "can't load library client.dll"
I reinstalled to make sure and it's the same thing!

had the same problem. like someone under posted, you have to change your video setting to OpenGL, then it should work.

Game freezes when I try to close the window that comes up when I press F4 after picking my character in the tutorial.
Please help me, i know that it requires half life to be run in OpenGL mode
but when i run it on OpenGL then the game works fine but the text in the menu does not show(including all the sub menu)....well i have a lot of difficulty as i cannot not read the options.
PLEASE HELP!!!! tell me if i need some patch.....or something.

its probably a graphics problem..what's your graphic card?
well i dont have any since i have only PCI slots (not PCIe) - but i do have the Integrated intel graphics chip set(probably supports only OpenGl 1.1 and no pixel shader support).
in other mods like ESF when i run it on 'D3D' everything is fine,
but when i set it to OpenGL no matter what resolution i choose, the menu text does not show clearly(sometimes only the first letter and some bars)
i do not have any problem playing though.
but since NNK is new to me i dont know its functions and options so i am not being able to play it.
Guess i have to wait for the patch.
