I can't believe that this is a HL mod that is to show that gold source "HL engine" is really impressive.
Now like in my last review I'm going to get the major bad parts out of the way and for this mod there is not that much..
For starters not that many servers but for a mod like this it happens and same goes for not a lot of characters but like I said for 1.0 it's very well done. Also the usual start server then crashes but a lot of mods have that problem so nothing much to say there. Last loading now I got a good computer that can run source at full power but there are loading problems with this mod that need to fixed...
Alright the bad out of the way even though there are not that many characters to play but each one has a unique fighting style which is very good that each character has a different attack style. Next is graphics and wow I'm impressed they keep the style from the anime really well done and fits perfectly with each map.
This is a very addicting mod and I hope in the near future the mod team will fix the stuff that needs to be fixed and just add more content to an awesome HL mod that needs to be taken seriously. Even though I gave this mod a 9/10 but it's my seal of awesome for mod that need to be played...
When a developer can use an old engine to make a game that looks as good as games that are being made today, it is a sign of hard work and potential. This mod is by far the best I've downloaded in my history of mods. Only small glitches and non-existant servers are the main flaw, and yet I still have a good hour of fun playing alone. I give this a 9/10, hoping to give a 10/10 on R2!
