Muralis is the ultimate multiplayer hand-to-hand combat experience that combines all the elements you've come to enjoy from Unreal Tournament 2004 to 3rd person fighting games.

Muralis's gameplay currently combines hand to hand fighting and melee weapon fighting. With projectile weapons like guns in the not to distant future. Players can punch, kick,and eventually shoot and do many other things in any combination they choose. This is part of our "open combat engine" Which will allow more freeform combo's rather than specific pathed combos found in other games. This freedom, along with other gameplay elements seperates Muralis from other games of its genre.

The game doesn't work.
I cant punch or kick or do anything, but the bots can.

Looks like this could be pretty cool, but this type of game *needs* a video to see how well it's executed. People can assume the gameplay of a "Counter-Strike Style" mod, but not for something like this - screenshots don't do it justice, imo. I searched on google and found a news post on your site that says one was in the media section, but that has since been removed I guess. Get it back or make a new one! Haha, good luck :).

After 15 hours of work, we've finished update 1 for Muralis. We would have liked to release today (yesterday hehe),
but we want a day of testing (while we're not so wonky) to make sure its ready for a public release.
We also want to make sure there's a dedicated server up for people to play the brand new release on.
It will also take time for the mirror sites to post our release.

What have we added in the last 2 weeks? More moves, another character, custom block
and custom hit animations, ranged attacks, and 2 new maps.

Web site will be updated with screen shots of the ranged attack goodness July4th, evening (Pacific time)

Happy 4th to those in the States.

Forgot to metion there is also a dedicated server up that me and the devs play on all the time. join the acsesion game one enless your from europe or asia then join the german one up too. They really make a lot of servers. The server is located in seatle Washington

Now im going to make a long post about the features of the new realse coming. Well first they are adding guns. Its still in third person and the guns can come out anywhere in the combo. So you can like knock some one up shoot knock them down shoot then jump down launch them away shoot them dash twoards them with a super dash and finish them with a special. I can actualy do that without the shooting part but most likley will be able to. Every char has a diffrent projectile Flax is getting two pistols while grim is planning on getting a gunblade shotgun if they can make it or other wise he will olny get to throw his sword, Spike will shoot out spikes (duh). Next they are adding custom blocks that work like in crouching tiger hidden dragon where every attack has a custom block animtion so say you are kicking flax in the face he might duck while spike might catch or reflect it. It will look like a movie. And custom hits work where each animtion makes a custom type of animtion where they either fall down stun or stagger in diffrent ways depending on the hits. Im not a dev but ive been playing with the devs this entire time and they told me. I cant wait to play with you guys. Oh also grim and spike will actually be worth playing instead of being imposibble to play because of incomplteless. They are also fixing a lot of bugs but cant fix flaxes ragdoll. now any one who cared to read this join the forms at remmber if you dont ill kill you even faster. remmber realse party is on the third
