NOTICE!!!!
This Demo will not work for the 25 anniversary edition of Half Life, you need to revert it back to the Steam Legacy version if you want to play. (Will work for full release!)
More Hunger is a new singeplayer mod using They Hunger assets. It takes place in the early 1900's in an isolated town somewhere in the west european mountains. You visit the town to meet your sister. But something goes terribly wrong...
The demo has now been uploaded to the They Hunger page to let people know it exists. This demo offers 30-40 minutes of playtime and lots of zombies. Belück is a dangerous place, the ammunition is scarce so keep your eyes open, search for hidden supplies and always, aim for the head.
Follow the mods own page for updates.
Last year I released a rather sloppy attempt at a demo. This new demo is more accurately representing what the full release will be like. This new file includes 1 new map and changes to old maps to make them more atmospheric, longer and less jank. Zombie skins from th2 and 3 has returned and their voices thanks to monster_urbys's TH Definitive FGD, and with that fgd comes more interesting enemy encounters and scenarios. (Seriously thanks man)
The big bugs have been fixed, but if you encounter any please let me know. I'm very new to modding so there will be jank, now and in the future, so I will need help. Seriously guys, im fumbling in the dark and help is like lightsources, be that tutorials on twhl.info or getting help from a random commenter, I appreciate it all.
But enough about that, enjoy the demo and have a extra spooky october this year!
Gonna be fun to see what year of work has accomplished! :)
nice job dude ^_^
An October update for a They Hunger mod? Very fitting. Will take a look at this new demo this evening :D
that's cool, but i have the problem about sv_startsound: volume 892, i already solve the problem about that, hev sound is off and what should i do?
You don't get the HEV suit in this mod. It's supposed to be silent.
Yeah, all you have is a health bar, which kinda makes sense, instead of compensating the HEV system for some weird alternative of armor in a different time period
