Momentum, Crysis parkour mod
Momentum is an upcoming parkour mod. It takes the already successful mirror's edge flowgraph created by Darkwish. The mod adds animations, new maneuvers such as sliding, diving, sideways rolling and auto rolling to Darkwish's parkour flowgraph. This flowgraph has wall running, wall climbing, edge jumping and vaulting. The mod is to be released soon, as in, a few days.

Today I went through my testing map and cut out all the flowgraph fat of incomplete components for my mod so I could submit a new working release version. Anyway, here are the things in this new version of the mod -
Hand and Leg Animations for climbing, wall running, vaulting
View locking when climbing
Lock-on aiming
ninja rope (right mouse button with fists out)
repelling (left mouse button with fists out)
parachute (shift whilst in the air with nothing around you [3m radius])
Lunge Melee (t whilst in front of an object, entity)
Here are the things that I already had.
Momentum based turning (a and d for sharp turns, q and e for smaller turns)
Rolling while prone (q and e)
Diving (z whilst sprinting)
Sliding (lctrl whilst sprinting)
Animations for vaulting over small obstacles (updated, 3 separate levels of height)
Animations for Sliding (updated)
Metroid Prime lock on view (caps lock)
OLD STUFF (huge meh to reading this part)

Yep, those are claws. :) Someone created Wolverine style claws for Crysis and this seems to be them.

Whose cover of "Tear Drop on the Fire" is used in the trailer? I've been searching for it since watching the trailer but I can't find it.
Nice trailer by the way. It shows off the movement and actions you can do very well.
will this be a mp mod?
The mod is singleplayer. For the initial release it will contain a level that plays out a lot like Gears of War Horde mode. You spawn, choose your weapons, time, team, and style and then fight waves of enimies over about one square kilometre. You can direct your team mates, keep score of enemies killed and later I hope to add a combo point system.
The wolverine claws are by jlim, because you use your fists (default disarmed weapon) to ninja rope and abseil I added claws so there would always be a good melee weapon.
