In ours to a modification remains only 3 Hostile powers , but all of them will be with the unique features, weaknesses and pluses. Hostile powers of our modern conflict - China (army NOAK), America (General regiments on struggle with terrorists) and terrorist threat - GTO (global terrorist organization)

A 50mm won't penetrate any tank build after 1943, but this is C&C so it will xD
This is cool ! But i think using missile will be better than a 50mm cannon, after all 50 mm cannon were suppose to be placed on Panzer IIIs not a modern combat machine
maybe the 50 mm fires depleted uranium shells like the A-10s GAU-8 Avenger.. and besides the GAU-8 isnt just for anti-infantry but also an anti-tank weapon...
It's all about ammunition and muzzle velocity. but it will be quite unbalanced if it will be strong against everything. You must make patriot able to take down infantry more easily
The A-10 comes in with a speed of sever hundred Km/h then shoots the top of the enemy tank (where is less armored) so of course its a good Tank-Destroyer. This is a Turret, on the ground, firing at the tank's frontal armor, where it would take a 120mm HV Depleted Uranium Shell to kill it.
If you want to be that realistic in a game that really isn't, maybe the 50mm fires high-velocity DU-tungsten sabot rounds?
even if it did it still would pierce the armor....our tanks take 85mm rockets...RPG'sand dont get peirced by the RPG..and the RPG is designed to break through armor much like a sabot ro Sp round is...a 50mm will not do anything to todays tanks...might hurt humvees..but most likely it will go through one side and out the other..unless it is a HE round..then yeah the hummer will die..and on the A-10 thing...P3ACE753 mention that its spped is comin at 700 km/h or 600 mp/h(roughly) and the GAU-8 is a vulcan cannon..it fire at very high velocity..not to mention it is hittin the top daeck armor which can vary from 1/2 inch to 2 inches....sometimes more depending on upgradezs but never over 4...but this is C&C so realism is not included in the retail versions
