And hopefully with the SR-2M sub-machine gun, we will have 148 :D
Alsow, this gun seems like a very strong sidearm to take out armored NPCs at close-range.

Sadly we can't get animations for an SR-2M, I have two models, but no animations. I will try to gamble with some lame compiling someday, though I don't expect much since there is no possible weapon to use as base.

if there is any tutorials for how to set up a rig for s.t.a.l.k.e.r in 3DSMax then export for in game use I can try to whip up a few animations if I had time. That is of course if school doesn't get in the way.

I guess the most identical weapon to the SR-2M is the PP-2000, so animations should probably be some what identical.

Yeah I know, even the PP-2000 won't work as the currently available animations are not suitable, so the SR-2M will have wait for a little while.

9x21mm is pretty much the same as 9x19 AP 7N21 that is already in mod

146 weapons? Wow that is quite a lot. Is that unique weapons only or does that include quality variants?

146 is a mix between, melees, Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Pistols, everything that has been added to Misery, some are unique, like that previously shown Double Barrel, variants are included too, like the M590 and all of its variants, and such.

I asked a couple monoths ago about a .22 rifle or pistol making it into the mod, will we be seeing .22 ammo type in the mod? Maybe as a cost effective way to hunt? I imagine that the .22 wouldn't be even close to a suitable gun for facing armoured opponents or even some mutants with so if it were added to the mod could we see them as high accuracy, low reliability (because of the tendency of .22s always having misfires) but cheap guns?

Lets look at our two types of enemies: Mutants and People
A flesh survives a 7.62x54R Round to the head... so good luck using a .22, considering that the flesh is the least dangerous mutant...
And against a Person: While a headshot should kill them if they do not wear any head protection, everything similar to a helmet should stop a .22.
And the range is so poor on a .22, going for headshot will be difficult...
And let's not even talk about body shots with .22...

So I don't see a possible use for .22, even with (more expensive) Magnum loads...
But even if it would be ingame: You would spend so much money on pharmaceutical items and gear repairs that .22 would be more costly than 9mm Makarov.

To be honest, the things that you can 100% kill with one shot are crows and rats, humans without headgear are to be downed too, but to be fair, a .22 rifle may turn things upside down if you get into an unpredictable encounter, one bandit can make it hell if he's well prepared. I do have some rifles suitable for .22, but adding such a weapon needs more thinking, as Deaddriver3 said, it will cost you more than what you can gain from taking down an enemy.

Description

The creation of this gun was initiated to meet the Russian Army requirements for a high capacity pistol with high stopping power. The pistol uses SP-10 (9x21) with AP steel core bullets. Designed to deal with targets in bulletproof vests, the ammunition is capable of near to 100% successful penetration of 30 layers of Kevlar plus up to 2.8mm titanium plate at 100 meters. Despite the low effective range of the pistol it is still a very powerful side arm.
