Brought back one of the most needed rifles in the stalker experience, the M14. An American select-fire battle rifle loaded with 7.62×51mm NATO (.308 in) ammunition, a caliber you don't want to get shot at with. The perfect long range semi-auto rifle with manageable recoil and great magazine capacity.
One of the things I'm doing aside updating weapons is cutting out useless and old ones, for instance, this M14 replaces the Type-63, sure some of you will feel bad about it, but it's a needed change the mod requires. More weapons are treated the same way, will reveal them later.
I support your decision, filtering out and replacing stuff with something more unique then just a carbon copy of basically the same weapon. That M14 looks awesome. Well done mate!
Also building a good foundation of an arsenal that is polished is the way to go. You can always add new stuff later if you feel like something is missing, ore some type of weapon fits better to the existing arsenal. Just a question, are you planning on conducting an open alpha/beta test?
Removed totally, or still in the mod files? It wouldnt be the worst thing if you just kept those "clone" weapons around on rotation at a select vendor for RP purposes and if the person wants that little added bit of variety.
I'm not keeping a useless gun just in case someone wants it, if it needs to go, it goes. We're better off witt a clean arsenal that has what we need. Besides, adding more entry sections will only put more resources load on pcs.
Really digging the camo on the stock. Good to see you guys back, always a pleasure to see more updates from TAZ in my notifications.
Will you guys be doing some Galil's anytime soon? Would love to see a new ACE model, maybe even a variant on a different caliber? They're avaliable in most of the calibers commonly used in the Zone (5.56, 5.45, 7.62x39. 7.62x51 NATO, etc)
