Description
So I decided to rework the Kar-98 models and give them better animations. Thanks to Roman for his newly released addon for Misery, Original Guns Reanimated.

I like that tape. It gives it more "apocalyptic" look.

Very Nice. The reloading animation that Roman uses is consideraby better then the ones TAZ was using. No disrespect intended for whoever made those older ones, but Roman really hit the nail with his work.
Plus this model looks amazing. Loving that threaded silencer.
Yeah man, Roman's animations are great, and they fit with HQ weapons just perfect :D
I tried giving these animations to other rifles but they are not fitting well.
What is that thing at end of the muzzle? Somekind of muzzle brake or something?

I really think its just a funky looking silencer. Theres no holes to release the gases, so it cant be a muzzle brake. Either way, silencer though funky, looks very cool.
So, why exactly does the suppressor look so weird? And what's with the tape?
You can say that the suppressor is kinda hand made, and the tape is to keep the rifle in tact, it is an old rifle you know.
Well, I suppose I could argue that there are literally millions of those old rifles on this world that do not need tape and zipties to not fall apart. They're known for their durability after all. But then again, that's the gimmick of this mod and that's what people like in it, so slamming my head against this wall kinda pointless, isn't it?
But I do have to complain about that "hand made" suppressor. If you did even the most basic research and googled "homemade suppressors" or a neat little channel called "Improguns" you'd find that all of those homemade suppressors are simple steel cylinders. For an obvious reason, threaded metal pipes are everywhere. And to make that spiral ***** by hand you'd need a skilled metalworker, an artistic blacksmith even.
I'm asking this because I really like your mod and want to find out more about the logic behind all of those seemingly inane choices.

You're pretty much right about the silencer, it shouldn't be called a homemade/handmade, it is more professional, but hey! Nimble got the best goodies! :D
Concerning the tape and zip ties, I'm pretty sure there are weapons out there in the world which have pieces held together with these items, besides, the zone is too harsh, you are broke, you have an old rifle, you can see the wood falling apart slowly, you got yourself a couple of zip ties, are you going to put them in or will you keep up with the world logic ? I will definitely put some zip ties in my rifle if I need to, tape too.
On a more serious note, it is all for the sake of variation, a weapon with such features shouldn't necessary mean there is must be an identical clone of it in real life, if I follow such approach we would end up with a COD like mod, and that is totally against the game theme isn't it ? :)
But we don't want it to look like Fallout 4 either, now do we?
