Oh, best thing ever, best thing ever, this is the best thing ever!

Still, references aside though, I bet I'm going to have fun with this thing. Especially if you allow shotguns to have muzzle chokes, to slightly increase both accuracy, and damage with shot, but make it so you can't use slugs.

I can't tell what sawed-off tradeoff sucks more...Realistic: only slightly less accuracy, but range and stopping power dropped off of a cliff, or game/movie perpetuated idea of: stopping power (More or less.) intact, but SIGNIFICANTLY less accuracy, which, although they still have (Again, more or less.) the same range, greatly decreases the EFFECTIVE range.

Really, now, they both suck. But at least if you choose the inaccurate path, you can fix that with an anatomical pistol grip, grippy fore-grip, and akimbo muzzle chokes! At least I think grippy fore-grips were a mod. Huh. Don't remember. I think there were two plus accuracy upgrades for the TOZ-34, that weren't the rifled barrel...

But oh well. I know, at least, that there's one 20% accuracy mod, which helps, but the muzzle choke's (Presumed. You can make it do whatever you want, or even scrap the idea. That is, if Faction Fronts didn't already HAVE muzzle chokes...) boost of 30% accuracy, and 20% damage and range, would take the cake, set it on fire, and launch it out of a catapult to the military outpost. Or just make it the opposite of the rifled barrel (Or at least I think that's what it's called. Pretty sure, but better to have a safe fail.), and just do 50% accuracy at the cost of X ammunition.

All of the above enhanced by the inclusion of magnum buckshot.
Doesn't matter WHAT you make it do, make it increase the amount of shot (Like it does in real life.), or just make it do more damage (The tradeoff S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods, and New Vegas made due to limitations.), it's going to be the short range obliteration cousin of slugs.

And, sorry if all of my feature requests in the form of ideas are already present. I'm not very familiar with Clear Sky, at all. Only played about thirty hours, half of it was just dicking around with the Swamps, and then something bugged up, and I had to make a new game. So, yet more Swamps. And I never tried Faction Fronts. All I did was install the game, get the patches, and install a graphical/slight feature overhaul (I think I installed Complete.).

So I don't know if magnum buckshot, shotguns having muzzle chokes, weapons I suggest, weapons I wonder if you're bringing to us, etc. are already present (But not common.), in vanilla, or what's in Faction Fronts, or any of that.

Also, I might sound like an idiot talking about things in the game, because the last time I played was about two months ago, since I've been waiting for this mod before playing Clear Sky, instead getting my Stalkery fix from heavily modified Fallout 3, and Shadow of Chernobyl with L.U.R.K. mod.

Awesome comment about the cake and the military outpost. I literally LOL'd. I'll see what I can do about a muzzle choke; I do like the idea, but Shotguns in M.I.N.E. are really seriously powerful already.

In fact, they're about the only things I could use to take down Zombies at Yantar efficiently. :)
