Not really. Contra only made all planes for aifgen take off and land verticaly but still on a flat airfield.
Off-topic :Zotobom pls don't bash mods. If you think its shity keep it to yourself. That shity thing is a work the contra team is doing for many years for free. Show at least some form of respect for them. You don't like it, you can say it in a much better way.
on-topic : an interesting ideea, but wont this would make that model useless if used on a flat field ( i take it it's in the model itself, since by code you cannot change the landing hight ) in case someone else wants to further mod the mod :P.
there r to choices which r making it like that or screw that air field and design a new flat air field ,i'm leaving it up to the community to chose, and i agree with anubis about contra
As far as I know, the airfields work with sets of bones to tell the planes the driving direction, where to activate thrusters etc, hence I wonder: is it really true they ignore the z axis and are always on the ground?
true ,the z axis is ignored,they will spawn after being built according to z axis but if it is higher than the land they will start to think until reaching the land level but i managed to fix that partialy

I'm curios how will you make it work. No one ever made a plane land on a tall platform in generals because of sage's limitations.
