Don't understand this too straight. The Dead City is called so because of the harsh environment - the desert - and because of the dependence of the population on the underground sources and oasises. Moreover, the appear of the Fire Lake made the situation even worse.

A new location north to the Ironsand Desert will appear. A year after the Fire Gate had closed, the fire lake finally disappeared, allowing us to access the new previously unknown location of Jadame. You will meet various eclectic creature and building concepts, fulfill various new quests and reveal the mysteries covering this enchanted place.
